Hyun Seok Jun

I am an active-duty captain in the Republic of Korea Air Force, having been selected as a telecommunications scholarship student, and I continue to serve in the military. During my service, I completed a doctoral program in Tactical Communications. I have experience in system development and education within the military, and I aim to contribute to battlefield automation in response to the upcoming population decline in Korea. My main interests include cyber-electronic warfare, physical layer security, and intelligent communication systems, with a focus on the military applications of 5G and B5G-based commercial cellular systems. I also have a passion for philosophy, signal processing, K-pop, and running.

• Developed XML Validation tool for NEX1 Framework, Avionics system.
• Development of Windows applications using C#. Developed a program for XML input/output and syntax validation.

Undergraduate Researcher Ajou University, Department of Military&Digital Convergence, Suwon, Republic of Korea, Oct. 2018 - Dec. 2019

• Developed a MATLAB-based flight simulator for tactical communication relay UAV.
• Participated in the specialized research center project for future combat system network technologies, supported by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and the Agency for Defense Development. As a deliverable, authored a KCI journal paper on physical layer security techniques for tactical communication systems.
